The College has built a sound reputation over the years that have extended beyond local and national borders. Through its programmes like; STUMEC, IQTE, Cluster, meetings where staff of the College serve as resource persons and overseas Staff development and Conferences, the College is known and respected. Recently, various organizations and Associations have recognized the College Leadership with many awards like, honorary doctorate degree by London Graduate School in conjunction with common Wealth University, Addis Ababa, Fellow, Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administrators, Ambassador of Ethics and Conscience by centre for Ethnics and Self Value Orientation, and Outstanding Leadership awards by; NANS, NAKATSS, SUG etc. Recognition of being gender friendly Institution by Centre for the Development of Leadership with integrity and Purpose and Award of Excellence by Women in Colleges of Education (WICE) North – West Zone.
